Extension for Airtable sheets

I’d like to have an extension that allows you to use Airtable sheets. I think it could be very useful as an additional resource for online data storage. What do you think about it?

Best regards

Airtable offers an API

so you might want to use the web component to access it, see also How to work with the web component and an API by Stephen

Good to know. :+1:
With an extension with methods and events ready to use it would be all faster for beginner like me and/or advanced users. Or not…?

Thank you so much @Taifun

If it can interest someone, an extension for Airtable exists. I tried it and it seems to work.

Maybe you can give more info where to find the extension.

It’s a free extension of @Jerin_Jacob.
I wonder why he didn’t advertise it here.

I send a pm to Jerin if he can post his extension in this community.

this is really a very interesting extension. I’m trying it a bit and it seems to be valid as an online storage resource in addition to those already present. It is also possible to attach documents. If you want to upload an image (or any other document) in an “Attachement” field, you will need to upload your documents to a place on the internet and then write the URLs of these documents as field values in the “Attachement” field of Airtable.
Multiple uploads are also possible for the same field. In this case, the URLs of the various attachments separated by commas must be set in the “Attachement” type field.

I tried with documents hosted on web site (http: // …) and on google drive.
With google drive, the URL to use must be that direct and not that of sharing.
Eg having the URL https://drive.google.com/file/d/FILE_ID/edit?usp=sharing on gDrive you must get the URL https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=FILE_ID and everything works fine.
This extension would be even more perfect if it allowed the runtime addition of a table with a method (addTableInBase for example).

Really really interesting, at least for me.
